Sometimes bots end up registering for accounts online. On top of taking up space in your database, these accounts may have obscene content, or make it difficult to sift through who your actual customers are. Advantage Web incorporates reCAPTCHA as an optional feature to protect against fake online registration.
Enable Human Verification at Customer Registration
- When logged into the store as an administrator, click the small gear icon at the top of the page.
- Click System Settings.
- Navigate to the General sub-section of Options.
- Click System Options.
You may have to click the down arrow to reveal more options depending on the size of your screen.
- Select Human Verification at Customer Registration.
- Click Save.
