Important Security Update
Recently it came to our attention that there is a security vulnerability existing in a third party component version that is used by the CenterEdge Advantage installer. We have addressed this issue by updating our own software to use the secured/latest component version.
This is an important update that requires CenterEdge to provide a new LTS software release, and sites currently on the 24.1.0.358 LTS version should upgrade to 24.1.1.1160 as soon as convenient. Sites using a Fast Track version (FT) from 2024 (24.x) should also upgrade to the 24.6.4.1039 Fast Track release. These updated versions are available now.
For Sites Using LTS
- You will be able to do the upgrade to the new 24.1 version from Manager Console, when you see a yellow bar at the bottom that indicates the new version.
- There is no deadline associated with this upgrade, however you will no longer receive patches (updates with bug fixes/security updates) for the original LTS version.
For Sites Using a Fast Track Version
- As always, we recommend staying current with the latest released FT version; if you see a yellow bar in Manager Console indicating a new version, you can upgrade to that version at any time. Version 24.6 is currently available with this important security update.
- If your site has not yet upgraded from a 2023 Fast Track version, please consider upgrading to the 24.1.1.1160 version minimally
