Make Your Birthday Party Software Emails More Professional

In today's modern world, email is one of the primary forms of communication with your customers.  This holds true for your birthday party parents, too.  To that end, for several years our birthday party software has supported sending direct email to your customers.

The problem with these emails is consistency and professionalism.  There is often consistent information that you want to deliver to the party parent for every birthday party.  Plus, it would be nice to format it cleanly every time.  Wouldn't be great if this was easier?

In today's modern computing era, security has become more and more important.  New technologies like WiFi have made our lives easier, while adding even more new security concerns.  When handling credit card information, the status of your security becomes even more important.  To our knowledge, none of our customers have ever suffered a security breach, but we have heard about businesses being fined in excess of $80,000 for stolen card numbers when they weren't properly compliant with modern security requirements.

CenterEdge Advantage Point of Sale Card Splitting Support

Do you offer bonus points on game cards to your customers who make larger game card purchases.  Maybe if they buy a $20 card, they get $3 in bonus play?  It's really a great way to increase spending in your arcade if you use a debit card system.  But what do you do if the customer has two kids and wants to split that value between them?  You can't just sell them two $10 game cards, then they wouldn't get the bonus value.

Interac EMV Chips Now Supported

As part of our new CenterEdge Advantage 11.2 release, we have completed implementing support for Interac EMV processing in Canada.  For those who aren't familiar with EMV, sometimes known as chip & pin, it allows Interac cards to be taken using the new chips embedded in the cards.  There is also an Interac Chip FAQ which may help to answer some of your questions.
