Roxboro, NC – June 2016 – CenterEdge Software, a leading provider of Point of Sale, Online Sales & Reservations, and Ticketing Systems for entertainment and recreation facilities, has announced the company will be expanding the integration between its Advantage Point of Sale System and the Sacoa PlayCard System. Introduced in 2015, the current integration allows venues to perform a variety of Sacoa related functions directly from the CenterEdge POS terminals including the ability to sell and reload Sacoa playcards from any CenterEdge Workstation or Tablet. Set for release this fall, the expanded integration will see a number of enhancements including full support for CenterEdge’s deferred revenue accounting option as well as the ability to capture sales from Sacoa’s self-service Kiosks.

If you are a CenterEdge Advantage client using Windows XP to operate your CenterEdge Advantage installation, this message contains vital information regarding your PCI compliance.
In order to remain PCI compliant, any system which handles sensitive customer data such as credit card numbers must always stay up to date with the latest security patches for their operating systems, letting no more than 30 days pass without a security update. Last Year, Microsoft announced they would stop publishing security and bugfix patches for Windows XP, with the last patch to be released on April 8th, 2014. This means that any system running XP will not receive any security updates after this time, and thus will no longer be PCI compliant as of May 7th.

Alisa is joining our technical support and installation department. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill with a degree in political science.
